REQUIREMENTS

WHAT IS NEEDED IN ORDER TO GET A SCHOLARSHIP?

Here at FAST-US we will accompany you to your sports scholarship and beyond. We will guide you from looking at what scholarship percentage you can possibly achieve, over making contact with the coaches, up to obtaining your visa. Beyond that FAST-US offers to assist you throughout your years at the university and beyond. The 5 major steps on your journey to the USA are as follows:

1. EARN YOUR HIGH SCHOOL OR BACHELOR'S DEGREE

  • Obtain a high school diploma or equivalent (varies by country) 

  • For a Master's degree,you need to have an accredited Bachelor's degree

2. GET IN CONTACT WITH US, SIGN UP FOR AN EVALUATION

  • Sign up with us as soon as possible to give yourself the greatest chance of getting the best scholarship and choosing the right university for you. We suggest to start with the process as early as 1-2 years before you graduate high school or your Bachelor's​.

  • Once we evaluate your athletic and academic achievements, we will send you our company contract.

3. APPLICATION, TOEFL, SAT (OR GRE IF PURSUING MASTER'S)

  • ​In order to better assess your academic and athletic abilities, we will need pictures and a video of you playing your sport as well as all your updated academic & athletic documents. Your video does not need to be done professionally, as we will help you edit it.

  • We will guide you to finding the best schools and coaches for you and consult you in the process of making sure that it is the best fit for you.

  • The SAT is an English and math test that serves as an admissions test for american universities and helps assess them your academic level whereas the TOEFL is a test to assess your command of English language. Universities have different scoring standards in regards to accepting students into their institution. The SAT is also necessary for your athletic career and on your way to eligibility with the NCAA or NAIA. The two tests can be taken as many times as you want. 

  • The GRE test is for student-athletes that are finishing their Bachelor degree and want to pursue their Master's in the USA (Please contact us for more information if applicable). 

4. CHOOSING THE RIGHT UNIVERISTY & SCHOLARSHIP OFFER

 

 

  • We at FAST-US want to help you find what you are looking for in a university. We look at the size of the school, the location and the degree programs among many other things. We help you find the right school based on your needs and expectations.

 

  • One of the biggest things that we help with is making sure you are well taken care of by the coaches. We want to assure that the coach fits what you are looking for and that they help you become a successful student-athlete and a better person.

 

  • At FAST-US we provide you with information about the potential universities in regards to their academic and athletic level. Conducting Skype calls with the coaches is an essential part of the process and helps facilitate your decision on which school suits you best. We will provide you with possible questions to ask. In the end, we want you to make the final decision on what university is the best fit for you and all your needs. 

  5. SIGNING THE SCHOLARSHIP &  OBTAINING I-20/VISA

 

 

  • Once you sign the scholarship and send it back to the university you have chosen, we then will help you with the process of getting your visa. FAST-US will make sure you are taking all the right documents to your appointment at the embassy and will give you an idea of the questions that they will ask you. Once approved you will be on your way to the USA and your future can begin.

 

  • One of the most important documents is the I-20 (certificate of eligibility for students), which you will receive from your university. The document assures that you, in fact, will be studying in the USA and serves as a required supporting document to your visa.
